Welcome To The Darkside

  Hah..i declare as of now..it ’s "FYP Rest Week". Finally, i can take a break from my FYP. The simulation for FWM didn’t work , but the programming structure was good..hahah…:p Now, i just need to chill and wait an input from my supervisor and then only, i can get started on the next part. Looks like i will only be studying EMI,Law and finishing my 2 lab reports during my 1 week break…huh, no problem, right?:) At least i will have time to catch a show and finish up on my game,"Midnight Club 3". Really looking forwad to this break.
   To all MMU-ians, happy holidays…may you use the time given to you to do something productive..:p. MAXIS will be coming to see me this Friday. It’s regarding the budget proposal. They need an explanation, and also some supporting documents in order for them to approve the budget..looks like i need to convince them…hmm…
   Looks like the death of PS2 is near. It is inevidable since the PS3 will be out in a couple of months time. But still, there are A LOT of great games coming out for the PS2 this fall. Here are some games that is currently on my list:

   I recommend you guys(who own a PS2) should try to check out this games. Looks like another great year for the PS2. Indeed.

  Alhamdulillah, looks like my name is on the Golden Key member’s list. Looks like i have a shot at my dreams after all. What are my dreams? Well, that we will discuss later..far far in the distant future.
   Very hectic day. Even 3 cups of coffee is not enough for me to stay awake for the whole day. But the most important thing of all, it was a productive day..and being productive is what matters.
   Dr Abbou asked me to add in the effect of Four Wave Mixing. Finally done it, but there seems to be a few errors. Since i don’t know the value of the third order non-linear susceptibility of the Single Mode Fiber, so i just did an educated guess. Hopefully, it is accurate. I’ve also been asking help from this tutor ,Miss Katrina, regarding FWM. She’s been a great help.
   The past keeps haunting us, and we will never escape it. No matter how hard you tried forgetting about it, it will somehow manage to creep back into your thoughts in the not so distant future. The consequences of our action haunts us all. I’ve came across mine recently, and alhamdulillah, i’ve managed to top it. The feeling of regret isn’t there anymore. It feels like i am liberated. The only thing you can do is to accept it and then move on. Easier said than done though. A wise friend once told me,"What happens in the past,doesn’t determine who you will be. You,yourself, will determine who you will be.Having a shitty past doesn’t give you an excuse to have a shitty future."Please forgive the semi-harsh language, since i quoted from him,well,sort of.

  Have you ever fell in love? Have you ever practiced on the words to say to her on the following day so that you hope that your conversation will flow smoothly? Have you ever wanted to talk to her eventhough there is nothing to talk about and therefore you created some silly topic in hopes of prolonging the conversation? Have you ever can’t stop thinking about her? Have you ever done her favours in hope that she would be happy and smile because by God, her smile is the most beautiful thing ever? Have you ever confessed your love to her eventhough you knew that you have no chance in winning her heart? 
    Once she rejects you, your whole world turns upside down. You encapsulate yourself in your room, because you are not in the state of mind to meet anyone right now. You feel like you have fallen into this pit. As you are falling, you try to look around but it is too dark to see anything. You try screaming but to no avail, there is not even a sligthest sound that can be heard. You are wondering when will you ever reach the bottom of the pit. Or maybe there is no "bottom"? Maybe it is a bottomless pit. You are going to spend the rest of your remaining days decomposing inside this self made pit of yours. No one will help you to crawl out from this pit. You are left there, all alone. The feeling of loneliness creeps on your soul. You felt uneasy at first, but later on , you embrace it. You were forced to embrace it because it is the only thing that you can ever feel. And hence, loneliness is now a part of you which you can never get rid off.

   Moral of the article is: lek lek aa bila kena reject or break up, jangan emo sangat seperti yang berlaku kepada orang that i’ve mentioned above. Move on with your life and be happy…:)

  All right, one of my first Random update(malas sebenarnya).  What may appear random is actually modelled  stastically , which is not Random at all in my case. Which means that i can predict the randomness behaviour..haha.enough crapping, on to the real story.
   I’ve just finished my MAI. I got a sounding from my supervisor in the afternoon for using the wrong formula to model MAI. I used IMDD , the one i should use is Phase Encoded(Dah lah nama project is Phase Encoded, masih nak pakai IMDD? Long story). Anyway, the problem has been remedied. Took me around 4 hours to fix it. Tomorrow i will be showing my supervisor and hopefully that this is the right one,insyallah.What is MAI you asked?(Oh no, here he goes again with his boring lecture:p)
     MAI is known as Multi-Access Interference. It occurs when multiple users tried to transmit  simultaneously within the same channel at the same time. This will cause a loss of power received(destructive interference) and obviously will increase the PER. The occurence of MAI is higher for a huge amount of users, therefore the PER is proportional to the number of users. Higher PER means more packet losses, which is bad for the system.
The game Midnight Club 3 is damn awesome. I like it even more than NFSU 2 and also GT4.It is one of the best arcadish racer around. The best street racing game,period. Oh yeah ese, the "Zone" effect is damn cool. You guys should check it out. A complete review will be posted soon as soon as i complete the game(tgk la kalau rajin nak tulis).
